FORBIDDEN MOON

SERVICE WEAPON - INSTRUCTIONS & GALLERY

 INSTALLATION

1. Extract zip folder Service Weapon - Forbidden-v1.7z or Service Weapon - Regression-v2.7z.
2. Select colour folder you desire, and copy and paste serviceweapon (data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon) into your Control folder's data_pc (data_pc\textures\weapons)
3. Usually you can find the game folder in C: or D: drive, depending where you installed the game. An example as follows:
   
   [drive]:\Epic Games\Control
   [drive]:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control

UNINSTALLATION

1. Go to where you installed the mod either C: or D: or wherever you have your game installed.
   
   Example: C:\Epic Games\Control\data_pc
   Example: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Control\data_pc
   
   
2. Delete the following in:
   
   data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\charge\charge_d.tex
   data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\grip\grip_d.tex
   data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\pierce\pierce_d.tex
   data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\shatter\shatter_d.tex
   data_pc\textures\weapons\serviceweapon\spin\spin_d.tex
   
   

• Please note that these mods will conflict with other service weapon recolours, so make sure you have cleared the previous service weapon mod you were using before installing this one.
• I might as well point out that if you choose to change the colour you are not required to exit the game entirely. Just exit to main menu, and make the switch to another colour, and click continue in the main menu. Your new choice should be active.
