An original post from Tumblr on how to install CONTROL mods.
I’m never good at explaining things, but I feel compelled to since I’ve gotten this question more than once. To begin, applying mods to Control shouldn’t be a sore ass, but in case it is I’ll break it down as simply as I can.
Also note that this only works for the PC version (Epic and/or Steam) of the game.
The above is just an example of how texture mods are placed, and depending on the textures you have downloaded the way folders are sorted could be very different.
With that, here are some tools I use from the modder that created Loose Files Loader. Many of which have enhanced my experience in Control, and hoping they are useful to you.

Virtual Foto Division is growing, therefore I've decided that it's time to give this project a proper home. Here I'll post VP work of a variety of games that are not tied to Assassin's Creed Odyssey or the Assassin's Creed series.
